Needle Stick Protocol
In the event of a blood/body fluid exposure

1. HOLD the patient in the office - DO NOT let the patient leave!
2. Wash area with soap and water
3. Exposedemployee call Employee Health or after hours hotline (see below)
4. Inform supervising attending
