City Wide Grand Rounds

City Wide grand rounds is held one time per academic year jointly with Washington University’s Division of Dermatology.  The location alternates between the two institutions.  Interesting cases should be kept in mind during the course of the year to present at this conference.  The resident is responsible for contacting the patient, obtaining images of the H&E slides, clinical photographs, and preparing a presentation sheet.  The PowerPoint presentation is 3-5 minutes in length and includes the patient presentation and discussion of a pertinent topic (new treatment, molecular biology, or controversy, etc.).   The resident should not lecture the audience on basic aspects of the disease.
