Dismissal

A resident may be dismissed because of inadequate performance and/or because of unethical or clearly negligent conduct. Dismissal shall be the decision of the Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education on the recommendation of the program director, the department chairman or division director, as appropriate; with appropriate consultation (faculty, hospital, Human Resources, & University General Counsel.)
